The park was founded by Dr. Andrzej Krzywiński and covers an area of ​​about 100 hectares. Its location on mid-forest meadows allows animals to live in conditions close to natural. The park was created to carry out works related to the protection and reintroduction of species currently disappearing and endangered, such as, for example, forest grouse and lowland lynx. The patron of the park is the naturalist and patriot Benedykt Dybowski, a resident of Siberia, hence in Kadzidłów there is a group of Siberian animals and species from the Far East.
