The northern ends of Masuria belong to the least visited parts of the country. It is here behind the village of Stańczyki, there are huge viaducts of the closed Gołdap - Żytkiejmy railway line (31km). These bridges are the highest on the line and one of the highest in Poland. Length - 200m and height 36, 5m. Reinforced concrete structure, five-span, equal to 15m arches, 180m long. Pillars are decorated with elements modeled on Roman aqueducts at Pont du Gard. Hence the name - "Aqueduct of the Romincka Forest". The Błędzianka river flows under the buildings. Overpasses were the favorite place of rope jumping amateurs. On the riverside, under the bridges, a shed, camping site and a bonfire were built. Great place to look at and for walks. You can say that it is the best and most beautiful place in Poland for bungy and shuttle jumps. Recently, jumps have probably been officially banned due to the poor condition of the bridges. Picturesque hills with spruce-covered slopes and clean lakes create a wonderful landscape. There are many interesting bridge structures on the Gołdap-Żytkiejmy railway route.
