Renaissance Water Tower, brick from the 14th-16th centuries. The building was very innovative and modern for those times. In the years 1571-1572, a water supply device was installed in it, with the help of which, with wooden pipes, water was supplied to the Cathedral Hill. They were constructed by Wrocław's Walenty Hendel. It was the second water supply of this type in Europe. The operation of the entire set of devices used water energy to drive the bucket wheel, and the bucket system drained water into the tank at the top of the tower. It was the only such installation in Poland and the second in Europe, after Augsburg. Currently, it is an observation tower.
